Irina wurde im Juli 1973 in Russland in Ul’janowsk (ehemals Simbirsk), der Stadt an der
Wolga, geboren.
Sie wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie auf. Bereits im Alter von vier Jahren betrat sie zum
ersten Mal eine Bühne – sie sang, tanzte und spielte Klavier.
Mit fünf Jahren begann sie ihre Tanzausbildung, ein Jahr später hatte sie ihren
ersten Klavierunterricht.
Auf die Frage: “Was willst Du einmal werden, wenn Du groß bist?”, antwortete sie: “Ich weiß
nicht, was ich mal werde, aber eines weiß ich ganz genau – irgendwas mit Musik…. – ich
möchte auf der Bühne stehen …!”
Irina wurde Frontsängerin einer Kinderband und war als begehrte Gastsolistin bei vielen
bekannten Bands und in vielen TV- und Radiosendungen zu hören..
Sie beschäftige sich 11 Jahre lang mit klassischer Musik und beendete ihr Studium an der
Musikfachhochschule mit Auszeichnung in den Fächern Klavier und Musiktheorie.
Obwohl ihr alle Lehrer eine große Kariere als Pianistin prophezeiten, wollte Irina singen
und tanzen.
“Inspired by Janet Jackson” – 1992 gründete und leitete sie eine Tanzschule für ihr Soloprojekt,
in welchem sie als Sängerin, Choreographin und Produzentin arbeitete, um eine ihren
Vorstellungen entsprechende Tanzgruppe zu kreieren.
Sie lernte einen bekannten Musiker und Produzenten kennen; das war der Beginn ihrer
Studioarbeit. Die produzierten Songs hatten Erfolg und kamen in die Rotation verschiedener
Radiosender.
1995 entstand beim Lokal Zentral TV Kanal “Wolga” der Dokumentarfilm “Irina”.
Moving to Moscow… – Es folgten unzählige Live- und Studiogigs.
Im Jahr 1999 kam Irina nach Deutschland, wo sie nun ihre neue musikalische
Heimat gefunden hat.
Zurzeit kann man Irina in verschiedenen Bands erleben, und sie hat jetzt eine klare
Vorstellung von ihrem Debut-Album – coming soon! “’cause now I think I’m ready
to speak as a grown-up woman, mature person, as a musician”.

Born in 1973, in the city of Ulyanovsk on the Volga River in Russia, Irina grew up in
a family of musicians, appearing on stage for the first time at the age of four, singing,
dancing and playing the piano.
When she was five Irina started attending “Red Corner”, a famous dancing school
in the city. A year later she began taking piano lessons.
When asked who she would like to become when she grew up, Irina usually answered:
I don’t know who I want to be but the only thing that I know for sure is that my life
will be connected with music and I want to be on stage.
Irina became the lead singer in a children’s band, made guest appearances in many
other bands, and performed on TV and radio. After eleven years of studying classical
piano, Irina graduated from music college with all A’s (piano and music theory).
Despite her skill as a pianist, however, Irina wanted to become a singer and dancer.
Inspired by Janet Jackson, in 1992 Irina opened a dancing school and worked on
a solo project as a dancer, choreographer and producer. She also started taking
professional karate lessons, and met famous producer and musician with whom
she produced a number of songs which aired to great success on the local radio stations.
In 1995 the local network “Volga” made a documentary film “Irina”. Irina moved to
Moscow where she continued to give live performances and work at the studio
(writing, recording, producing songs).
In 1999 Irina moved to Germany. She continues to work as a choreographer,
tai-bo trainer and singer. As a part of the producing team at PM Production Company
she works with Russian singers like Larisa Dolina, D. Jino, and K.Toelen.
At present Irina works in different bands as the lead singer and is readying her
debut album, which will be released soon, “?because I think that now I am ready
to speak as a grown-up woman, a mature person and a musician”.
Her love for music, her warm and tender voice, as well as her dancing style
touch audiences from her very first note and dance step.
Her music inspirations are from such diverse performers as Al Jarreau, EarthWind&Fire,
Steve Lukather & TOTO, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Gino Vannelli, Brecker Bros,
Marcus Miller, W.Houston, M.Carey, MaryJ.Blige, Brandy, Israel Houghton & New Breed,
Kim Burrell …
